Bill Frisell and Sam Amidon

A coupling so potent on paper that it pretty much had to happen, the duo of gentle guitar maverick Bill Frisell and avant-folk singer and banjoist Sam Amidon lives up to its promise and then some. Having toured last year in a supple quartet, the two come to Le Poisson Rouge in an intimate match; expect to hear Amidon's soulful yelp find its soulmate in Frisell's plaintive twang and cry.
