Local fuzz-rock outfit Beverly, led by guitar-slinging frontwoman Drew Citron, makes music that’s as sweet as it is crushing. Here the group celebrates its sophomore album, The Blue Swell. Coed local trio Haybaby opens with its rousing kind of punk cabaret in which frontwoman Leslie Hong's powerful wail punctuates a sludgy psych-blues din (weird and magnetic stuff, say we).
