Ben Holmes Quartet

A trumpeter best known for working in some of New York’s busiest Balkan and klezmer outfits, Ben Holmes fronts his own jazz-inspired quartet. Specializing in cool-toned lyricism and airy swing, the band plays in support of its appealingly understated 2012 Skirl release, Anvil of the Lord.
