Ben Allison Group

Bassist Ben Allison is one of the most compelling bandleaders in town, a jazz composer who keeps his work contemporary and accessible without either pandering or overintellectualizing. We can't wait to see what he comes up with here, in the company of old friends and new associates: trumpeter Jeremy Pelt, pianist Frank Kimbrough, guitarist Steve Cardenas and drummer Rudy Royston.
