Like so many of the most formative punk acts, beloved post-hardcore outfit Bear vs. Shark lived fast and died young. Two albums of anthemic, ferociousally-screamed hooks earned the crew a cult following in the early aughts until an untimely breakup in 2005. After more than a decade apart, the Michigan band plays two reunion shows on the heels of a dual reissue of both records, continuing a tour initiated earlier this year at a benefit for the Flint water crisis. Openers include pop-punk quartet All Dogs on Wed 28 and fuzzed-out world-weary indie-rockers LVL UP Thu 29.
