Bang on a Can presents the 2016 People’s Commissioning Fund Concert

Ecstatic Music Festival. Bang on a Can's crowd-sourced commissioning campaign this year features works by the ever charming Quebec guitarist René Lussier and Caroline Shaw of the dynamic vocal ensemble Roomful of Teeth. (Shaw is also the youngest ever winner of the Pulitzer Prize for music.) Also on the program are pieces by Zhang Shouwang and Gabriela Smith and an older work by BOAC's brilliant Julia Wolfe. The Bang on a Can All Stars and the Trinity Choir perform.
