Arturo Sandoval

Cuban-American trumpeter Arturo Sandoval first came to the States with the incarnation of the powerhouse band Irakere that also featured Paquito D’Rivera. Since then, he’s become a tireless figure on the international jazz circuit, offering the kind of fiery bebop reminiscent of his mentor, Dizzy Gillespie.
