L.A. DIY-pop king Ariel Pink supports a new one, Mature Themes, at Webster Hall. The good news is that the weirdo-pop record has been lauded by everyone from Pitchfork to The New York Times; the bad news is that APHG is being sued for $1 million by its former drummer, who claims he was illegally pushed out of the band. Tonight's support comes from local lady combo TEEN, whose recent debut, In Limbo, balances kaleidoscopic elements with crisp drumming and girl-group harmonies—definitely worth a listen.
