Anthony de Mare: Liaisons

Pianist Anthony de Mare has made a name for himself by specializing in works that require him to tell a story while playing. It stands to reason, then, that de Mare would show an affinity for master musical storyteller Stephen Sondheim, whose songs have been reinterpreted by a wide range of contemporary composers—among them Steve Reich, David Rakowski, Wynton Marsalis, Duncan Sheik, Andy Akiho and Jherek Bischoff—for this final installment of the Liaisons series.
