The slyly flamboyant André De Shields, Broadway's original Wiz, has an amazing stage presence that has only gotten richer in recent years. Now he's riding high again in Hadestown, which earned him a 2019 Tony Award and is scheduled to return to Broadway at the start of September. Meanwhile, you can watch the master showman strut his stuff up close in his Feinstein’s/54 Below solo debut, joined by musical director Sean Mayes on piano, Rudy Bird on percussion and guest singers Kimberly Marable, Lori Tishfield and Freida Williams.
