This prominent "black-gaze" outfit steadily added shoegaze elements to its black metal sound until shedding the latter genre's trapping almost entirely. Once full of raw and primitive melancholic aggression, the band's sonic territory now favors beautifully atmospheric art rock, as heard on recent full-length Kodama.
