Veteran vocalist Sheila Jordan, herself a 2012 NEA Jazz Master, appears as part of a tribute to her fellow honoree Von Freeman. The gig comes on the heels of last night's classy salute to the new Masters at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Rose Theater.
