A Pergolesi Festival

Gotham Early Music Scene rounds up some of New York's finest singers and period-instrument players to celebrate the 300th anniversary of Italian master Gian Battista Pergolesi's birth. The festival's two programs include classic works, unfamilar treats and a newly discovered sacred version of a secular cantata.
