311 + Slightly Stoopid

Reggae-inflected fratcore heroes 311 and their more laid-back counterparts Slightly Stoopid—think 311's slower moments, but with more interesting guitar flourishes—hit Jones Beach tonight. We won't blame you for questioning these bands' taste, but they're both pretty great at what they do (especially 311, who at their best can come off like a pop-friendly Rage Against the Machine).
