Time Out says

Th​is​ long-running Asian American Pacific Islander short film festival,​​ hosted by founder Angel Yau and producer Pratima Mani, screens a range of narrative fiction, docs, animations, music videos, comedy sketches, experimental films and more by AAPI filmmakers at Caveat on Thursday, May 11. 

In additon to celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, the event's mission is to create a safe space for AAPI filmmakers to voice their stories and receive meaningful feedback on both new work and works-in-progress. You'll also get to hear brief introductions by the filmmakers themselves and enjoy several live performances including Dylan Adler and The Illustrious Pearl.
