This cozy boutique hotel on Franklin Street in Greenpoint definitely lives up to its Brooklyn zip by delivering on the cool factor. Think custom art, woodwork and eccentric décor, not to mention its trendy addres, packed with restaurants and bars. No matter what room you’ve booked, the units feel loft-like, luxurious and come complete with high ceilings, modern, colorful furnishings and comfy beds (though we have to say, the Deluxe Loft Suite does truly have a stunning bathroom with wall-to-wall stonework).
Franklin Guesthouse’s ultra-attentive hotel staff are quick to make sure your needs are met and are happy to offer recommendations for where to eat or explore nearby. They’ll also help you coordinate a ride from the hotel's free car service within a mile radius or so (first come, first served). Last, but not least, we also hear they’re known to offer a complimentary upgrade or two if the opportunity presents itself.
TIME OUT TIP: The hotel is just a short walk to Paulie Gees, a local pizza spot that serves up some of the best thin-crust brick-oven pizza you’ll ever have. Try the HellBoy pie, complete with spicy honey!
