Staying in a chain hotel might not have been your plans for your big New York City weekend, but an attractive price tag and a slew of amenities might have you changing your tune. For prices hovering just above $100, you’ll get free parking, free Wi-Fi, and free breakfast – try doing any of that across the river in Manhattan. All that, and a view of NYC?  The hotel is just 2.5 miles south of the George Washington Bridge and a bus stop is a two-minute walk away. If it’s not rush hour, you find yourself in Midtown in less than 10 minutes (although it’s a stretch to call this “near Central Park” as the property’s web site does). Rooms are what you’d expect: boxy and nondescript, but clean and with plenty of elbow space.
