Former TV producer Steve Marks has opened a second location of his retro barbershop (the original is in Carroll Gardens), where guys can get precision cuts ($42) in an unpretentious setting. Help yourself to a gratis Brooklyn Lager or soda from the fully stocked vintage Coleman cooler, then take a seat in one of the ’60s Belmont chairs with built-in ashtrays and submit to cleanups ($22), beard trims ($15), straight-razor shaves ($42) and buzz cuts ($25). You’ll hear everything from the Stones and old country music to Joy Division as the highly trained mix of barbers and stylists transforms your look. Before you leave, pick up products from Davines, Baxter of California and Civil ($17–$30), which are used in the treatments, to maintain your ’do between visits.
