From its inception, the Black Party has pushed boundaries and challenged conventions with its promotional posters—many of which are so unsuitable for public view that calling them promotional posters at all feels misleading. In reality, BP producer the Saint at Large has made its event posters something of an ongoing art project—and every year, the unveiling of the Black Party poster is anticipated almost as much as the announcement of the event's DJs. This weekend, the Saint at Large looks back at more than two decades worth of arty-pervy posters for the Black Party, the (now-defunct) White Party and other events it produced at Roseland, which is closing later this spring. Click through above to get a sneak peek, then head to the OUT NYC starting Thursday 20 to see them larger than life in a multimedia retrospective.
