Arts organization Visual AIDS hosts three programs as part of Day With(out) Art, a national day of AIDS activism that began in 1989. At 1pm, hear personal anecdotes told by writers, poets and artists, and contribute your own experiences in a storytelling session (Artists Space, 55 Walker St between Broadway and Church St; 1–3pm; free). Afterward, curator and critic Alex Fialho leads a tribute walking tour of Soho and the West Village, pausing at significant sites such as Keith Haring’s former residence, and the location of activist Marsha P. Johnson’s death (meet at Artists Space; 3–4pm; free). The stroll culminates at the Rusty Knot for a special edition of the weekly Scissor Sundays party, soundtracked by DJ Amber Valentine (425 West St at 11th St; 4–6pm; free).
