Counterculture

Choreographer Kyle Abraham curates this evening of music and dance focused on the intersection of street, club and queer cultures. Artists on the bill include DJ and multimedia artist Edgar Um, rappers Le1f and Will Sheridan, dancer-choreographer Wendell Cooper and vogue artist Javier Ninja. The show is presented as part of Harlem Stage's Uptown Nights series, an homage to Harlem's storied past as a cultural hub in the city. After the performance, the audience is invited to take the floor.
