For more than two decades, Broadway Bares has kicked off Pride Week with local chorus boys and girls stripping for charity. It's a simple concept—hot dancers taking their clothes off is awesome. And it works: This past weekend at Roseland, Bares (which had a cheeky stripping-across-America theme this year) raised a record-breaking $1,430,241 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, a charity that helps fund much needed services for people with AIDS and other critical illnesses. TONY's photographer caught the action both onstage and behind the scenes.
