Home chefs can stock up on cookbooks without blowing their grocery money at this sale, where more than a thousand new and used tomes go for just $1–$20 each. Titles for the taking include Great American Food (Charlie Palmer), Authentic Mexican (Rick Bayless) and The Flavor Bible (Karen Page and Andrew Dornenburg). All proceeds support the James Beard Foundation's programming (including JBF LTD, a pop-up restaurant in Chelsea Market that will stay open through May 14).
