Flea Food Under the Archway

Water St between Adams St and Anchorage Pl, Dumbo, Brooklyn. Dumbo diners can check out artisanal purveyors, imported from the granddaddy of Gotham markets, the Brooklyn Flea. Every Thursday and Friday in August, four Flea regulars (Asia Dog, Brooklyn Oyster Party, Mile End and Landhaus) will hop over to the Archway under the Manhattan Bridge. There they'll dole out snacks such as short-rib sandwiches ($9), fried-oyster po' boys ($13) and a range of hot dogs (two for $4.50). Additional Flea vendors will occasionally join them, like Rice & Miso, as will local Dumbo spots such as Brooklyn Roasting Company. Though Aug 9, visitors to the Thursday market can also slake their thirst with Kelso Belgian Pale Ale and Pilsner ($6).
