Food nerds can unite at the New York Academy of Medicine’s brainy daylong festival, exploring health, culture, art and more, all through the lens of food. At ticketed workshops, you'll be able to examine the intersection of food and social justice with Afro-Vegan author Bryant Terry, geek out over ancient food writing and vintage cookbooks in the century-old library or discuss insects and their role in food with Copenhagen's Nordic Food Lab lead researcher Josh Evans. In between classes, recharge at one the food trucks posted up outside, including burgers from Snowday, pizza from Neapolitan Express and coffee from Esprezzatura.
