Witness (and taste) the unlikely marriage of grain and bean at this experimental workshop led by experts Ryan Mellinger of Joto Sake and Josh Littlefield of Irving Farm Coffee Roasters. After you’ve been schooled on distilling and brewing methods, sample four chilled, small-batch sakes followed by four roasts from Irving’s limited-edition Los Niños Experiments. A final Karasu Fizz cocktail combines both in one glass using Joto’s summery Junmai Nigori and cascara (coffee cherry), along with peach and tonic.
