Beer for Beasts

Beer Advocate and Sixpoint team up for their third annual beer-fueled fund-raiser, luring brewhounds and animal lovers alike with all-new suds and donations benefiting the Humane Society of New York. Sixpoint crafted a dozen single-batch beers exclusively for the event, including a sticky-sweet Louisville Loveletter Scotch ale and a dark, low-gravity Cadence Stout, as well as its first-ever collaborative sip with the Humane Society, a smooth and spicy Willis’s HSNY Rye. Soak up the hoppiness with vegetarian tacos from Calexico, curry pies from Down Under Bakery, Pizza Moto’s thin-crust slices and ice cream sandwiches (including a Sweet Action–inspired treat) from Melt Bakery. Local comics Myq Kaplan and Matty Ruby will perform stand-up, while East Village Radio’s DJ crew Chances with Wolves will curate a playlist of funky soul and R&B.
