This "Film Comment Selects" double feature makes a case for Brian G. Hutton as a director worth praising; personally, we'd have gone just for the former, a 1968 WWII adventure in which Clint Eastwood and Richard Burton take on the Nazis. If they wanna throw in a 1972 drama in which Liz Taylor goes bat-shit, be our guest!
