Trouble in Paradise

When folks speak of the famous “Lubitsch touch,” this is the film they most often cite—an elegantly hilarious tale of two jewel thieves (Herbert Marshall and Miriam Hopkins) quarreling over their latest target, wealthy widow Kay Francis. Quite simply one of the best movies ever to come out of Tinseltown’s golden age.
