The Anderson Tapes

A master thief played by Sean Connery, an apartment complex ripe for the picking, a cutting commentary on America’s growing surveillance culture—this crime potboiler seemed to have the makings of a sure thing. Unfortunately, it’s a rather turgid suspense flick that counts as one of Lumet’s misses.
