Pootie Tang

No doubt about it, Pootie Tang (Lance Crouther) is an ingenious creation: He’s a fighter, a lover and an all-around media sensation, a smooth brother who is kicking criminal butt when he’s not romancing the ladies or dropping hit films and records. The movie, however, is far less intriguing—a clever but one-note send-up of hip-hop culture and blaxploitation flicks.
