Time Out says

Welles’s version of the Bard’s bloodiest play isn’t as remarkable as Roman Polanski’s, in part because Welles was working on an El Mariachi–sized budget, but it’s moodily effective in spite of its flaws (which, depending upon the version being screened, may include some distractingly authentic Scots accents).
