Also known as The Forgiven Sinner, Melville’s drama stars Jean-Paul Belmondo in the title role, as a clergyman attempting to redeem the soul of a fallen woman. (We’re having trouble picturing Belmondo as a man of the cloth, but maybe that’s just us.)
