This self-described "book club on steroids" hosts classes and seminars on useful topics like how to buy your first house, fix your own bike and cook various ethnic cuisines. The Prospect Heights outpost, opened in January 2013, is the group's second location (the first is in Carroll Gardens). In addition to offering a full schedule of tutorials, the location functions as a weekday coworking space. Membership starts at $25 for one day per month (additional days are $20 apiece), and drop-ins are welcome ($25 per day). The spot accommodates about 20 people and is equipped with Wi-Fi, a printer, free coffee, a lounge area and a kitchen.
