Yvonne Rainer: The Concept of Dust

American Dance Institute begins its five-part season with a piece by dancer, choreographer and filmmaker Rainer. The "ongoing work-in-progress" addresses themes of aging and mortality, and combines formal dance with intermittent readings of texts dealing with ancient Mideast dynasties, paleontological findings and literary quotations.
