Under the Skin: Dances by James Waring, Aileen Passloff and David Parker

Choreographer David Parker pays tribute to James Waring with three pieces that reflect the infuence of the New York experimental-dance pioneer: Settling Scores, Enough and Running with Scissors. The program also includes Nocturne for Bob—by Waring's colleague (and Parker's erstwhile teacher) Aileen Passloff—and restagings of Waring's Octandre (1958) and 12 Objects from Tender Buttons (1972).
