Twyla Tharp Dance

The legendary Tharp took on Bob Dylan in the ill-fated 2006 Broadway musical The Times They Are A-Changin'. Now she takes another crack at his catalog in Dylan Love Songs, a world-premiere suite that zeros in on the Nobel Prize–snubbing songwriter's softer side. Tharp's program at the Joyce also finds her looking back at two classics, The Raggedy Dances (1972) and The Fugue (1970).
