Trisha Brown Dance Company

The company presents its first New York season since Brown's death in March. The Joyce program includes three late works by the postmodern dance innovator: Groove and Countermove (2000), set to jazz by Dave Douglas; Geometry of Quiet (2002), set to a flute score by Salvatore Sciarrino; and L’Amour au théâtre (2009), set to an aria from Jean-Phillippe Rameau’s baroque opera.
