Just in time for St. Patrick's Day, Mark Howard's influential, mostly female Trinity Irish Dance Company steps back to the Joyce for the first time in two decades with a mixed bill that includes three New York premieres: An Sorcas (The Circus), by Howard and Chelsea Hoy; Sparks, by Howard and star dancer Ali Doughty; and Michelle Dorrance and Melinda Sullivan's American Traffic, which compares and contrasts Irish step and American tap traditions. Also on the program are the vintage Howard works Soles, Push and Johnny.
