Local butoh star Vangeline curates this showcase for the avant-garde minimalist art form. Along with workshops and classes, the festival includes four performances that highlight the work of female butoh dancers: Nu Canal's Techne Soft (Oct 18), Sindy Butz's Vanished Country—Your Own Breath (Oct 19), Nicole Vivien Watson's The Mud Formed a Finger, Pointed (Oct 20) and Natalia Cuellar and Raimundo Estay's Xibalba (Oct 21).
