Shinnyo Lantern Floating for Peace

On the International Day of Peace, Shinnyo-en, a Buddhist denomination originally established in Japan, invites the public to a variety of performances at Lincoln Center's reflecting pool. Participants include American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Misty Copeland, Brooklyn hip-hop act Decance and Shinnyo Taiko drummers. In addition, visitors are invited to inscribe peace wishes in lanterns that'll be part of the lantern-floating ceremony.
