New Yorkers are rejoicing at the arrival of warmer weather as if it were summer already, welcoming the season of summer music parties. Since everyone’s in the mood for dancing, it was the perfect weekend for the 9th annual Dance Parade, a cultural bonanza dedicated to celebrating diversity led this year by Mary Verdi-Fletcher, America's first professional wheelchair dancer. Over 10,000 dancers participated, showcasing 75 styles of dance, from ballet to hip-hop. See some of the highlights below.
