Choreographer RoseAnne Spradlin presents the premiere of Beginning of Something, which is constructed for a long, narrow elevated platform placed inside the Chocolate Factory’s performance space. In the work, Spradlin strives to sketch portraits of her four dancers—Rebecca Serrell Cyr, Natalie Green, Molly Poerstel and Rebecca Wender—in an attempt to draw upon their previous lives. She then creates a "dance within a dance." For Spradlin, it's an investigation of energetic forces.
