The Lower Manhattan Cultural Council's free, wide-flung celebration of the arts has many exciting offerings in 2022, including music, film, dance, walking tours, participatory events and more by groundbreaking artists–all throughout Lower Manhattan and The Arts Center at Governors Island. This year's festival includes performances such as Okwui Okpowasili + Peter Born’s "repose without rest without end," Beth Gill’s "Nail Biter," Jonathan Gonzalez’s "PRACTICE," Heather Kravas’s "duet/duet" "keyon gaskin" Gregory Corbino’s procession, "MURMURATIONS," and Amy Khoshbin & Jennifer Khoshbin's "The Sun Seekers," participatory performance in conjunction with their summer-long immersive exhibition at The Arts Center at Governors Island.
