Richmond Ballet

Richmond Ballet presents the New York premieres of four works commissioned for the company: Katarzyna Skarpetowska's Polaris (2015), inspired by a Hubble Space Telescope photo; Ma Cong’s Lift the Fallen (2014), a salute to his Chinese mother; Val Caniparoli’s Swipe (2011), a mix of ballet and hip-hop; and Malcolm Burn's Pas Glazunov (1991), a pas de deux set to music by Alexander Glazunov.
