Philadanco

The Philadelphia company, which celebrates African-American dance traditions, returns to the Joyce for its first full engagement there since 2012. The four-part program includes three NYC premieres, including Dawn Marie Bazemore's A Movement for Five, inspired by the news frenzy surrounding the Central Park Five rape case of 1989.
