It's been more than two decades since Bourne shook up the West End with his striking all-male version of Swan Lake. Now the dance auteur returns to New York with his first new production in four years: an acclaimed adaptation of the beloved 1948 weepie about a ballerina torn between love and art. Terry Davies's music is based on film scores by the peerless Bernard Herrmann. Ashley Shaw and New York City Ballet principal Sara Mearns alternate in the leading role.
