The venerated company marks its 90th anniversary with a season that mixes its founder's seminal masterworks—including her triumphant Appalachian Spring, the antiwar Chronicle and the Medea-themed Cave of the Heart—with new, commissioned works by choreographers who were influenced by Graham's unique style, including Marie Chouinard, Mats Ek and Pontus Lidberg. Live musical accompaniment for all performances comes courtesy of Mannes Orchestra, and the season concludes with a special gala performance on April 18 (the company's 90th anniversary to the day) starring dance royalty Aurélie Dupont, longtime étoile and now director of the Paris Opera Ballet.
