A young black victim of gang rape tries to piece herself back together in Anya Pearson's dance-theater work, which merges poetry, theater and brutal movement (choreographed by Emily Bufferd). Based on a true story, the piece draws inspiration from Ntozake Shange's 1970s choreopoem For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide / When the Rainbow Is Enuf.
