John Kelly: Underneath the Skin

Performance artist, singer, choreographer and professional oddity Kelly performs a multimedia dance-theater work about the gay 20th-century erotica writer, tattoo artist and sexual swashbuckler Samuel Stewart. Commissioned by the Skirball Center, the show incorporates text from Stewart's essays and his unpublished memoir.
